A representative with Carter & Burgess is going to be at the AC meeting on Tuesday March 24th to discuss and answer any questions regarding the mitigation area on the east side of Woodland Springs. Anyone with any interest in this subject is encouraged to attend.
This year’s garage sale date has been set for May 1, 2 and 3rd. Get your permits from the city and get ready to unload your unwanted items!

The Committee decided to accept a new volunteer, a resident of VOWS as a member of our pool committee. Lana Sikora will now serve on the Pool Committee with Kellie Skellie, Frank Friar and Marc Valenti. We also agreed that the pool committee meeting for April 7, 2009 will start at 8:30am and we will meet at the Amenity Center. SBB and the Porter will accompany us to each pool to complete an inspection of the furniture.
The slide pool hours this summer will be from Noon to 8pm from May 23, 2009 through August, 23 2009. Whenever this pool is open, we must provide a minimum of 2 lifeguards, depending on patrons we may need to hire a 3rd lifeguard daily. Our budget will only support this pool opening 8 hours a day.
All the remaining pools will open on May 1, 2009 at 10am daily and close Sunday through Thursday at 9pm and on Friday and Saturday Nights they will remain open until 10pm. We have not determined if we will close the pools this year in Late September as we have in the years past. We are considering allowing the pools and bathrooms to be accessible all year round.
The committee entertained a suggestion from a vows resident regarding smoking in at least one of the pools. We are going to discuss this at the next HOA committee meeting on March 24, 2009.
