Frank Friar and Marc Valenti met with Anita from SBB, the porter and a representative from Roberts Pool Company. An inspection of the VOWS pool furniture, pool equipment and buildings concluded that the pool areas suffered hail damage.

We found 95 pieces of furniture damaged due to hail, 79 chaise lounges and 16 chairs. We also observed other damage to the roof and vents on the roof of the pool buildings. We had pvc pipes and plastic storage units damaged as well. We had an act of vandalism at the Old Denton Pool (elephant) and since this is a frequent target of vandalism, we have chosen to remove it from the pool at a cost of approximately $150.00 instead of repairing or replacing the item. The $150.00 cost is to cut off and cap the water source to the elephant and remove two metal brackets embedded in the pool surface and smooth out the pool floor. We have also elected to remove 2 of the artificial trees from that pool; they are in disrepair and need to come down. (more…)
