CITIZEN’S ON PARTOL BASIC TRAINING CLASS 3/10 – 3/11
Fort Worth Police Department’s David District will conduct a Code Blue Patroller Training Class on Wednesday and Thursday, March 10th and 11th. This is the eight hour training course for new patrollers.
The training program consists of classroom and “hands on” instruction to provide the COP Trainees with a working knowledge of the Fort Worth Police Department rules and regulations of the Citizens On Patrol program, surveillance training, and radio instruction.
Location: Participants will meet at The Villages of Woodland Springs Amenity Center at 12209 Timberland directly across the street from the Elementary school. (See attached map for directions)
Time: Classes will run from 6:30-10:30 p.m. each night.
three (3) hours each evening beginning at from 6PM to 9PM. Instruction will be comprehensive, and in each session a different facet of the department will be explored. Classes will be taught by officers and supervisors who work within the area being taught.
Pictures will be taken for ID badges and regulation shirts will be distributed at the completion of the course.
