VOWS Events Committee is pleased to announce that the first-ever fishing derby will be held on Sunday, Oct 3rd. While some details are still to be determined,  we do have a registration form that we request be filled/submitted, to allow us to better plan and faciliate the fun filled event.

Fishing licenses as well as regulation compliance is the responsiblity of each participant. It is worth noting that participants under 17 yrs of age do not require a fishing license, and that current year licenses expire at end of August. Sal Espino is the District 2 Councilmember for the City of Fort Worth and represents the VOWS area. Mr. Espino and others will be attending a meeting on August 11 to discuss construction schedule and final schedule for Golden Triangle reconstruction to a four lane, divided arterial street from I35W to US 377. Residents are encouraged to attend this meeting, which occurs at 6:30 pm on August 22, 2010 at the Keller ISD Education Center, 350 Keller Parkway in Keller, Texas.
