2011 VOWS Pool Season Information

Among the benefits of living in a planned community like VOWS are the amenities offered to residents. The Villages of Woodland Springs community features many amenities, including six swimming pool areas for resident use.
The 2011 pool season kicks off in May, so we wanted to provide residents with some general information and a map of the six pool locations.
2011 Pool Maintenance Days – In effort to provide the cleanest, healthiest pool experience possible to our residents over the duration of the 2011 pool season, there will be a daily closure of each pool once a week for maintenance purposes. Each Monday and Tuesday, three of the six community pools will be closed for treatment and maintenance by the Premier Communities onsite facilities staff. These closures are as follows:
Closed Mondays – Timberland Amenity Center Pool, Bray Birch Pool, and Wild Pear Pool
Closed Tuesdays – Slide Pool (Woodland Springs), Old Denton Pool, and Angel Food Pool
Please be advised that residents with unpaid assessments will not have access to the pools. In the event that you have not paid your dues or made payment arrangements, you will not have access to the community amenities. Pool access cards will be reactivated, only after the account delinquency has been resolved. Please contact the Premier Communities onsite management office for assistance in reactivating your pool access card.
The VOWS community pools are for use by residents and their accompanied guests only. These pools, and the associated costs, are paid for by homeowner assessments. All residents should utilize their pool access cards to access the pools and restroom facilities. Please do not open the gates for residents without a valid access card and do not ask other residents to let you into the pool areas.
Valid pool access cards are required. If you already have a pool access card, it will work at all pool gates and restrooms for the 2011 pool season. If you would like to acquire a new pool access card, please visit the onsite management office at 12209 Timberland Blvd. Replacement and additional access cards are available to residents at a cost of $25 for each card. If you rent your home within the VOWS community and wish to acquire a pool access card, you must present a completed Tenant Authorization Form. The forms may be obtained at the onsite management office.
Reminder to follow Pool Rules – Please ensure that all persons utilizing the pools strictly adhere to the pool rules. Pool rules are posted at each of the pool locations and on the community website (www.woodlandspringshoa.com). All residents and their accompanied guests are responsible for knowing and adhering to these rules. The rules have been established for the general safety and enjoyment of everyone using the pool facilities. In the event that any resident or accompanied guest fail to adhere to any of the posted pool rules, they will be asked to vacate the pool premises. Residents continually and consistently in violation of the established pool rules risk revocation of their pool access privileges. Additionally, vandalism of any degree will not be tolerated at the pools, restrooms, or other common community areas.
Early morning lap swimming is again available at designated pools. If you are interested in early morning access to the lap pools, please contact the Premier Communities onsite management office.
Swim lessons will be available this pool season to residents. These swim lessons are taught by the VOWS lifeguard vendor prior to the daily opening of the Slide Pool location. For information on registration, cost, and times, please visit www.bearfootmgmt.com.
Open dates and hours for the Slide Pool location. The 2011 Slide Pool hours will be 12pm – 8pm daily. The Slide Pool dates are as follows:
May 28th – May 30th (Memorial Day Weekend)
June 4th – August 21st Daily (Closed Tuesdays for Maintenance)
August 27th – 28th (Weekend)
September 3rd – 5th (Labor Day Weekend)
All other pools are open Sunday thru Thursday 10am – 9pm / Friday and Saturday 10am – 10pm (As referenced above, Pool Maintenance days will be Monday and Tuesday of each week).
May 6th – 22nd (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Only)
May 27th – October 30th (Daily)
