VOWS 7th Annual Bunny Hop 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run – March 5th – Registration Now Open

VOWS 7th Annual Bunny Hop 5k & 1-mile Fun Run and Egg Hunts are a hop away. The event will be held at Bray Birch Park on Saturday 3/5. Fun will begin with the first Run at 9 a.m. with bounce houses, music, petting zoo, vendor booths, and egg hunts.

The egg hunts will be in four age groups starting every 15 minutes at 11 a.m., with an additional Quiet Egg Hunt station. The Quiet Egg Hunt is open to every child but exclusive to children that will not be participating in the Ready-Set-Go! style egg hunts.

We are fortunate to have Kevin Dunn with Remax’s Team Dunn stepping up as a major sponsor of the 5k and 1-mile fun run race management, which means a larger donation will be going to the runs’ charity recipient, The Community Storehouse.

Run, walk, or push your baby stroller around the 1-mile Fun Run and/or the 5k. The race will be chip-timed. Winners will be awarded trophies in six age groups. Don’t forget to sign up for the run early for the discount, bunnyhop.athlete360.com.

VOWS residents can register for the free egg hunt at http://tinyurl.com/vows-egg-hunt. Registration is requested to help the events committee with planning the fun! Volunteers can sign up by emailing events.vows@gmail.com.

VOWS Events Committee is looking for a bunny drawing to go on the front of our Bunny Hop race t-shirts. Please submit your drawing by 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 7th to events.vows@gmail.com, and you will receive a confirmation response that your drawing was received from the events chair. Drawings will be in a Facebook photo album from 8 a.m. Monday, February 8th until 8 p.m. Friday, February 12th. The drawing with the most Likes will be featured on this year’s shirt. Good luck!
