2008 Pool Season Information

The Homeowners' Association mailed all residents information packets for the 2008 pool season. The package contains very important information for ensuring a safe pool season including:

  • Requirements for utilizing pool facilities
  • Badge acquisition
  • Pool locations, dates and hours of operation
  • Pool rules and guidelines
  • Expectations for minimizing pool expenses
  • Contact information for pool issues

All residents of the community are responsible for reviewing and adhering to the rules and guidelines in this package. Additionally, all owners are responsible for ensuring guests and persons in their household adhere to these rules.

As always, if you have questions or need more information, please contact SBB Management at 817-741-1719, stop by the on-site office or use the online form.

Pool Committee Update

The towels and swimsuits have been put away until next season, since the pools officially closed on 10/01/07. The work for the Pool Committee, however, has just begun. The Committee will be looking at making the pools safe and more enjoyable for every resident of the Villages of Woodland Springs.

Overall, the pool season this year was less bumpy than in years past. The addition of the security guards provided for a safer season. Overall, closures due to contaminations were down from last season, with a total of 10 as of 9/15/07. Closings due to dangerous weather were up.

About

The goal of the Pool sub-committee is to increase safety and awareness within our community concerning pools and to monitor the operations and budgets of contractors involved in the operation of the Villages of Woodland Springs swimming pools to include, lifeguards, maintenance/operation, and security.

How the Pool Committee Utilizes Homeowners’ Association Funds

The Pool sub-committee does not utilize any funds, it only monitors how they are used and makes recommendations concerning fiscal matters involved in pool operations.

Next Pool Committee Meeting: Meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month. All residents are welcome at each meeting.
